Community Engaged Research brings researchers and communities together to address real societal challenges — from shaping research questions collaboratively to co-designing projects that respond to shared goals and real needs. It includes approaches such as co-design and participatory research, which emphasise working together, sharing decisions, and valuing different types of knowledge.
